This privacy policy (hereinafter, the “Privacy Policy”) aims to provide additional and detailed information to users (hereinafter, the “User/s”) interested in the Privacy Policy of UGROUND GLOBAL, S.L. (hereinafter, “UGROUND”), in compliance with the regulations in this area, in particular with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter, “GDPR”) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
The purpose of the foregoing is to help the User to make informed decisions when using the website www.uground.com (hereinafter, the “Website”) and to understand how we will treat the personal information provided by the User through the different e-mail addresses contained in the Website. Therefore, we invite you to read the present Privacy Policy carefully in order to maintain control over your personal data at all times.
The User guarantees that the data sent or provided are true, accurate, complete and up to date, being responsible for any direct or indirect damage or harm that may be caused as a consequence of the breach of this obligation. 2.- What is the purpose of processing the User’s personal data?
“Contact” section: depending on the type of communication received from the User through this section, the purpose pursued by UGROUND will be the management of queries, questions, requests for proposals and / or complaints sent by the User through the contact email provided in the Website.
3.- What is the legitimacy of the processing of the User’s personal data?
The legal basis for the processing of User’s personal data, depending on the type of communication received from it, would be as follows:
  • The processing of personal data is based on the “execution of a contract”, i.e. in the event that the query, question, request or complaint is filed by a User/client through the contact e-mail adress.
  • The “unequivocal consent” in the event that the query, question, request or complaint is filed by a User that has no contractual relationship with UGROUND. UGROUND shall exclusively process the personal data provided by User to manage the request made through the abovementioned e-mail address.
4.- How long will we keep the User’s personal data?
Depending on the type of communication received from the User, UGROUND will keep the personal data provided for the time necessary to respond to the request made by the User.
5.- Which third parties will User’s personal data be communicated to?
The data will not be communicated to third parties except, where appropriate, to competent authorities in the exercise of their functions. Thus, the personal data provided by the User on the Website may be communicated to public organizations, courts and other administrative authorities, when we deem it necessary to comply with a legal obligation or for the exercise of legal action against claims.

  • Right to erasure of his/her personal data, where possible and under certain circumstances, among others, for instance when such personal data are no more needed for the purpose for which that data were collected or if the User withdraws its consent (in relation to the processing based on such consent).
  • Right to request the restriction of the processing of his/her personal data where the accuracy, legality or need to process the data is doubtful, in which case we may store the User’s data for the exercise or defence of claims;
  • Right to data portability, in the case of processing carried out by automated means, to obtain personal data that he/she has provided to us (in a structured format, for common use and mechanical reading) as well as to request that they be transmitted to another entity responsible for the processing, when this is technically possible.
  • Right to withdraw his/her consent at any time.
  • Right to file a complaint before the Spanish Data Protection Agency (agpd.es) if the User considers that data protection legislation has been breached in the processing of his/her personal data by UGROUND.
Therefore, User may exercise his/her legal rights before the Data Controller, at any time, requesting it by means of a letter addressed to UGROUND to the address stated in this Privacy Policy (Reference: “Exercise of GDPR rights”) which must contain: his/her name and surnames, photocopy of his/her D.N.I./N.I.F. (passport or other valid document identifying him/her), the statement of his/her request, address for the purpose of notifications, date, signature and, if applicable, documents accrediting the petition you are making, or through the following email: gdpr@uground.com.
